Science Center @ Jurong East

hehe..tomorrow is Hari Raya holiday, no good to work. so good! Tonight raining heavily, guess would be very nice sleep later.

Last saturday i went to Singapore Science Center at Jurong East together with my bf's family. It's around 45 mins MRT distance from Bishan and take a 10 mins walking distance from Jurong East MRT. So, it's very very far from the city.

Paying SGD12++ for entry of science center and a IMAX show. If you are going to enter science center alone is SGD6, IMAX is SGD10 but if purchase d package will be slightly cheaper. Too bad the Imax show is so so so terribly boring. So i would suggest if you wish to visit science center, just ignore Imax movie, perhaps can try up Snow city which i didn't have time to visit last week.

Searching for Room Part 2

My bf's family members is here in Singapore. We went to Sentosa and Science Center. Took a lot of photos, i will try to update when i am free! This few days not free- gotta view room.

My bf claimed that he felt very pressure after reading about this title.
what i wish to say is please don't feel pressure. I have no intention to add on your pressure.
I know you are trying your best and did whatever you could.
Thanks for your effort and support provided to me all the while.
I will be strong and keep tough, what i need is more time to suit into the new life and environment and make new friends...

Searching for Room

My bf is not coming over to visit me this weekend, he is going to biz trip at Netherland...please buy me souvenir!!!

Today my cousin called me early in the morning said she found me an empty unit at Ang Mo Kio. So, i called up and went to view the room just now around 7pm. It is located blk 155 at amk avenue 4. Well, it's a 2+1 HDB flat. To be frank, it is not bad, but cost is a little bit too high at SGD1600 not including utility. So, if me and Queeny share out, it's like SGD800 per person. Extremely expensive huh?

Anyway, i can't stay here for too long because it is initially a temporary plan. Still have to depend on how fast my bf can come over. So gotta rush up to search for a better room.

Bad Luck

Good news that my company provides mobile subsidy of SGD300 and i am entitle for mobile claim of maximum SGD50. Good news, huh?

Yesterday 22nd September was my first day to work. I woke up at 635am and walked for almost 10 mins to reach the bus stop. When i reach the bus stop, the bus which i am going to take just left right in front of me. What a &%(Q#@! Anyway, i still able to get into office in time.

As usual, HR gave orientation to the new staff and later back to own department. I was then asked to get my medical check up at clinic near to Admiralty MRT. Well, I left office at 230pm and headed to Admiralty. Took a long walk until my skin peel off.

So pain... you must be curious how come it like this... all because of my shit high heel shoe! I'm not going to wear it anyway, even though my camel shoes don't match my clothes!!!!! NOT again! so pain, it's like a 5 cents big!

Well, yesterday i noticed the economic rice near my house is very cheap. Let's see what i bought yesterday.

1 pork, 1 egg and 1 vege just SGD2.70. hehehe.. cheap huh? :P
Today i bought 1 vege and 1 pork without rice, only at SGD1.60.. haha. so great!

Talking about my company, whoo!!! Oh ya, for those who might not know, i am working at Marvell Singapore now. It's a semiconductor company which produce IC. At singapore, it is an operation office with a new building of 7th floor. Very huge and new building!! Charming neh! My have a huge cubicles of 3 x 3. Anyway, it's just a cubicles, no matter how good a cubic is, it's still cubic. So, don't jealous!

Get to know my company provided good benefits... Hooray! i can buy sign better mobile plan as my company subsidy Sgd300, fantastic!!!

Besides, my company also provide FREE meal for breakfast til dinner. You can't believe what they provide, they give good meal with variety of choices. hoho.... when i'm free later, i share again here.

Singtel Package

Today wake up early at 630am to say goodbye to my bf. He went back to Penang. By the way, i am suppose to have luncheon with my friend but he gave me a 747 air flight! :( Not even reply my sms..

As i have relocated to Singapore, it is impossible or too expensive for me to use my Maxis line. So, registering a phone line here is necessary. So, i did some survey!

There are two network provider in Singapore which are Singtel and Starhub. Both of their plan are quite similar in terms of money, so what i gonna consider is just about the phone.

At initial i think i only need to register a sim card and use back my SE P1i, but my bf suggested me to take up their package and later trade in my SE P1i.

This are some interesting package for Singtel:

1. Nokia N78 with GPS, 3.2Mp camera function featuring carl Zeiss optics, 3G, fast connection with 3.5G network and wireless function

(Need to pay SGD38)

2. SE G900 - 5 Megapixel cameara, 3G with wireless function, touch screen and able to edit and read document. (Need to pay SGD168)

3. LG Secret KF750 - with 5 megapixel camera function, tempered glass and carbon fiber which avoid your hp from getting scratc, touch screen media auto rotating display. (Need to pay SGD98) 4. Samsung Omnia which is a smart phone with Window Mobile 6.1 Professional. Very good phone with great features. Heard it designed to beat Iphone 2. Great, but unfortunately, i need to pay SGD498 to get this!

5. HTC Touch Pro - with Window Mobile 6.1 Professional, GPS function, 3.2 Megapixel camera, Very great indeed..but have to pay SGD688!

Getting crazy!!!

yesterday was my 2nd day in Singapore. Woke up late because we slept late the earlier night. Woke up at 11 something at the morning and headed to McDonald at Bishan MRT for our brunch. Three of us ordered the McSpicy value meal which is almost the same like McDeluxe in Malaysia. But, it taste far more tastier and juicier than McDeluxe. McFries is still as delicious as Malaysia. If you compare dollar to dollar, it is cheaper - Sgd4.95; but if you compare after currency exchange, i believe it is still more expensive.

After our brunch, we headed to Vivo city at Harbour Front. It is a very happening place because it is also the place to go into Sentosa island. Well, here is the place all gals will go crazy with.


There are variety of branded shops here in Vivo City. Well, i thought it suppose to be very expensive and high class shopping mall, but i turned crazy after i saw the price tag. hehe, It is not too expensive. Really, it really consider cheap if you earn dollar here and you don't convert.

Let's just imagine if you earn a RM3000 per month and you wish to buy a laptop. Sorry, you can only buy a cheaper brand or lower spec laptop. But here, with SGD3000 salary, you can buy a good laptop that only cost about half of your monthly salary. How good huh? Most freaking great is you can buy a 1TB (1000 GB) hardisk with just SGD230. Cheaper for those lower than 1Tb.

Talking about fashion..with what i earned in Malaysia, i felt that G2000 is very expensive brand, but now... it is so cheap here...i can get all those clothes that i love in low price. hmmm...not to mention other brands..i am so happy now... Well, although shopping is not my hobby, but i still feel happy, because Singapore have a lot of my favourite fashion style. Whoo yeah.. oh ya..forget to mention..those i seen yesterday is still non-promotion item.. really cannot imagine how much will it be after sales!!! Baleno t-shirt is having crazy sales at amk at sgd8 per piece. My beloved watch also very cheap...hahahhaa.... crazy! i'm going to crazy dy.

to play pool!

kaka.. I have never play pool before this and yesterday i joined my bf and his sister Quennie to pool center at Ang Mo Kio. Quite interesting, but i keep failed to shoot the billiard ball into the pocket. Too bad. But no doubt it's a quite enjoying games to do if you are bored.

After that, it was already 11pm and we rushed back and played "chor dai di" at home. I lost 20 cents! But is ok, just 20 cents. hehehehe... and i slept at 130am.

Bishan tour

This is the place where i stay now.. Bishan intercourt at Bishan street 22. Very nice and convenient area.

Here is just in front of my staying place. Very convenient because got all sorts of shops that you a residential area need. Wet market where you can buy meat, seafood and vegetables. Got one mini market which sells variety of goods that you need. Watson, Guardian, saloon, optical shops, food courts, boutique and even some stalls that sells nice drinks.

Opps... found Bishan Active park... place where you can play basket ball, beach volley ball, tennis... etc

At another park at Bishan... a place where you can jogging, running, cycling, roller skating, or even "paktor-ing".. hehe very nice and peaceful place.

Best part here is you can bring doggie into the park and gather with other doggies at a designated area.. very fun...

My New Life

Today is another new chapter of my life journey.

Starting my new life with fears and hopes in a city that i am unfamiliar with - Singapore.

It was no doubt took me long time to come across this, but future are still so unpredicted and i can foreseen a lot of changes going to happen. God bless wish everything going smooth.

Leaving my family and friends really not easy for me.

Looking at my family, they are stronger than me and accept my leave as a good opportunity to develop myself and to be independent.

So, i gonna be tougher and stronger in order not to disappoint them..
